Employment and Day Services

Social Skills...Vocational Skills...Success Skills

DBH/MRS believes that people with mental health problems, chemical dependency challenges or mental retardation have a right to participate in their local communities. Supported employment is an evidence-based, well-defined approach to helping people find and keep competitive employment within their communities.

DBH/MRS Employment and Day Services include:

  • Day Program Transformation- an enhanced outpatient treatment and counseling program that enables people to direct their recovery more effectively.
  • Clubhouse Programs- a vocational training program that offers work-readiness and social skills training to help people in recovery transition back into their communities.
  • Community Living Rooms- a nationally recognized psychosocial rehabilitation service program for people with mental illness, HIV or other co-occurring disorders.
  • Vision for Employment 2010- vocational training, employment support and related services for people with mental retardation through www.philaonthejob.org.
