Fostering Community Inclusion

While recovery can be initiated in an artificial treatment environment, successful maintenance can only be achieved in a natural community setting.  

DBH/MRS is expanding intervention beyond the individual to the family and surrounding community. As a result, partnerships with indigenous healers and institutions have been developed. The development of natural community supports has also been fostered.
